MBS Telehealth Items (in green)
Telehealth (video-conference and telephone) consultation items are available to all patients and the schedule for bulk-billing items has been doubled, with a new incentive payment put in place for patients who have conditions that cannot be treated by means of telehealth.
The changes also include an expansion of telehealth items, including items for pregnancy support counselling and aged care facilities services and after hours consultations.
